Council Upcoming News
- I hope everyone is having a great start to the Summer now that Memorial Day is behind us. Please be safe during this hot weather. I hope to see everyone at our Monthly Business Meeting this coming Thursday. At this meeting we will be electing our leaders for the next year. As soon as I find out from our District Deputy I will let everyone know when the installation of officers will be.
This coming week will be busy. On Friday we will be serving lunch for the participants with the Special Olympics. See Marty’s notes for time and place. Also, this on Saturday June 9th we will have Quarterly Communion at the 4 pm mass. This will be followed by our KC family picnic in the Youth Formation Center. Come and enjoy fellowship with brother knights and enjoy some crawfish. We will also have hamburgers and hot dogs along with refreshments. This will start at 5 pm immediately following Mass.
Brother Hugh Smith is still looking for someone who is in need of a motorized scooter. Let me know if you are in need of it. I hope everyone had a chance to come and see Father Matt Dupre’ when he came to St. Patrick for his fairwell mass. He asked me how the knights were doing and he continues to pray for us. I assured him that he is still on our prayer list and will stay on there until he tells us to take him off. Let us keep him in our prayers. He will be in Port Allen at Holy Family Catholic Church when Father David Allen until assigned in the diocese.
